Our Client is cu rrently recruiting for Senior Fire & Gas Instrument Technicians for their Pre-Commissioning project with new Refinery in Kuwait. Candidate should be available in Kuwait with TRANSFERABLE VISA STATUS and can join immediately.
Senior Fire & Gas Instrument Technician
Qualifications:
• Three years (Full time course) Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics Eng from a recognized technical institution or from a polytechnic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Witness completed F&G SAT activity as per approved procedures, drawings & documents • Participate in mechanical walk down, SAT. loop checking, prestart up activity and logic checking related to Fire & Gas System. • Update Engineer on various punch point, site observation • To visit site and report observation for any sub-standard installation. • Witness loop and logic check and generate daily report of the progress achieved.
Experience:
• Minimum of 6 (Six) years practical experience in maintenance of process control instruments in oil refinery/Petrochemical plants/Fertilizers • Good working (practical) knowledge about various process control instruments and skill to check, calibrate and repair them up to the DCS system • Should have a good knowledge on the DCS— Honeywell system. • Capable of reading and understanding P & IDs, schematic, logic single line wiring diagrams / drawings. • Working knowledge and understanding of Digital Electronics basics and able to use Electronic test equipment for trouble-shooting / testing purposes. • Good knowledge in DCS. PLC and ESD’s of major international makes. • Gulf driving license is preferred. • Must Have experience on working fire & gas systems • Must have knowledge of SAT, loop checking & logic checking related to fire & gas
