POWER UTILITIES AREA FIELD OPERATORS CONTROL OPERATORS AND SHIFT SUPERVISORS Oil Gas Jobs

CSS is currently looking for potential candidates for POWER & UTILITIES AREA/FIELD OPERATORS, CONTROL OPERATORS AND SHIFT SUPERVISORS in Bahrain working on a major Oil & Gas project:

Candidates must have a good knowledge and operation experience of Utilities Plant such as High pressure and Low pressure Steam Boilers, Air Compressors with dryers, Desalination Plants preferably Multi Effect Distillation (MED) type with Thermo compressor based, Demineralization Plant(cation and anion based Mixed bed), Electric Chiller with Vapor Compression type Chilled Water Air Conditioning Plants, Balance of plant including Deaerators, Water Storage tanks with blanketing arrangement, Boiler feed pumps, Drinking Water Plant (Remineralization unit), Steam condensate recovery system and Polishing units, Chemical handling and dosing systems, Fuel gas handling system, etc.

1. Area/Field Operator – Utilities Distribution (Operator Systems)

– Minimum Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
– Minimum 3-4 years’ experience as Field Operator utilities distribution preferably from Refinery/Petrochemicals – Power and Utilities Plant.
– Must be conversant with the use of DCS (Distributed Control System) / Analogue Control system, Advanced Control equipment and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) systems as applicable to area of responsibility.
– Must have a detailed knowledge of all equipment and procedures relating to unit operations, emergencies, shutdown and start-up of facilities, Network isolation and normalization for maintenance work including all type of works, i.e., hot work, confined space and etc., and safety procedures

2. Control Operator – Utilities Plant

– Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. – Minimum 5 years experience as Control Room Operator preferably from Refinery/Petrochemicals – Power and Utilities Plant.
– Minimum 2-3 years experience as Field Operator preferably from Refinery/Petrochemicals – Power and Utilities Plant.

3. Area/Field Operator – Utilities Plant

– Minimum Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument Engineering.
– Minimum 3-4 years experience as Field Operator preferably from Refinery/Petrochemicals – Power and Utilities Plant

4. Shift Supervisor

– Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
– Minimum 10 – 12 years of experience as Shift Supervisor (in the capacity of handling 8 to 10 operators – Head/control/Field ) in Power & Utilities operations preferably from Refinery/Petrochemicals – Power and Utilities Plant including minimum 2-3 years experience as a head operator in Power and utilities operation
