Candidates should have Plant Operating experience, ensuring all equipment stays running and is well maintained. Plant Operators/Pumpers need to be local to Southeast New Mexico with Natural Gas Treating experience and amine experience.
Housing will not be provided for this position, so candidates will need to live within 1 hour of the Carlsbad, Jal, and Hobbs, NM areas. (This is specific to the location you are applying for)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Startup, Monitor, and Operate Amine systems to treat the Natural Gas stream
- Monitor and make adjustments to Pumps and Amine levels as needed
- Take samples of the natural gas stream to check CO2 levels and make adjustments based on each reading
- Assist in repairing pumps, valves, and other equipment on location
- Change out filters and other consumables when required
- Communicate daily status to customer representatives
- Promote good housekeeping methods and keep work locations clean
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, preferably as an Operator or Pumper
- Must have good driving record and be able to pass annual motor vehicle background checks
- Experience with Amine and Glycol Systems strongly preferred
