Job Description
Perform emergency duties as per Station Bill and Emergency
Procedures manual.
Effectively participate in the Stop Observe Act Report (SOAR)
program and encourage active participation.
Comply with and effectively contribute to the continuous
improvement of RMS, Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) related
policies and procedures, and relevant authority regulatory requirements.
Maintain ownership of the maintenance system on the rig and associated processes.
Participate with technical crew in risk assessments.
Ensure the safe and cost effective operation of mechanical and electrical equipment in compliance with statutory regulations and the company’s procedures.
Monitor continuous machinery surveys according to classification societies.
Ensure watch keeping duties are carried out in a competent manner.
Follow-up on requirements from classification society or certifying
authority where applicable and on certain occasions from flag state inspection and third party audits.
Perform all work according to agreed expectations of both internal and external customers, focus on doing things right the first time, every time, and contribute actively to continual improvement activities.
Job Requirements
Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
Understanding of budgeting and performance management
Excellent planning and leadership abilitie
