The Role:
Diploma / Qualification in Electrical engineering.
Successful completion of recognised Electrical Apprenticeship in Oil and Gas Industry
Knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance techniques;
Experience on Offshore electromechanical device, power electronic systems, automatic controls, protection and measuring systems, shut down equipment’s, direct and alternate drivers;
Experience in high voltage power distribution network, design and laying of electrical wires;
Experience in advanced diagnostic on electrical devices and apparatus;
Low Voltage switching operations;
Experience on Ex inspection and maintenance procedures.
Workshop repair, testing and calibration knowledge and skills.
Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding mechanical systems and equipment;
RoK Blue book certified (training and assessment will be provided if required);
Knowledge /awareness of CMMS and Computer literate;
Previous experience in Caspian Area would be beneficial.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry and a minimum practical 6-12 months experience as Technician II
Proven knowledge and basic skills in general plant maintenance
Fluent in both spoken and written English;
Medical Certificate of Fitness;
Valid BOSIET Certificate (Basic Offshore Safety
Induction& Emergency Training) or equivalent;
Basic (OPITO) H2S and Face Mask Fit Test certificate
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to write effective reports
Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi functional, multi cultural and multi location environment
Capacity to integrate with multi-national staff
Analytical skills
HSE mindset and strong commitment to safety
Computer literate
