JOB OBJECTIVE
The process supervisor is required to plan and oversee construction in the process discipline of all projects and work predominately in the field to oversee the EPC Contractor works and ensure effective execution of the work in line with the required standards. The position shall report to Process Team Lead.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyses the technical documents (specifications, calculation notes, drawings, etc.) to assess the scope of the studies required and the potential risks
- Sets up and issues the necessary clarification requests during the proposal phase as well as the qualifications included in the bid
- Seeks as far as possible solutions which can bring overall savings to the project
- Estimates quantities or validate estimation is done by another specialist of the team
- Estimates the budget required for the studies completion
- Sets up the schedule of the execution studies and the associated plan for resources mobilization
- Analyses the project technical documents to validate consistency between the budget, resources and means allocated for the work completed and the targets to be met
- Makes the Project Engineering Manager aware of the modifications or anticipated difficulties in meeting Client requirements
- Identifies project hot spots, criticalities and activity priorities
- Organizes the work of the team and writes the project procedures for the execution and controls of the structural studies
- Defines and follows up the planning of resources mobilization
- Writes or supervises the writing of the Structural Design Brief (the technical roadmap for the discipline engineering activities)
- Co-ordinates the engineering activities of the team members throughout the project with a permanent concern for optimization of quality, costs and schedule criteria
- Manages the different interfaces by coordinating the activities of the team with all the other stakeholders on the project (other engineering disciplines, project team, working sites, construction, installation)
- Controls the input data for the team activities and checks/review all the documents issued by the team
- Supervises the writing of specifications and requisitions as well as technical bid evaluations
- Informs permanently the Project Engineering Manager and if required the Project Manager of any foreseen technical or financial or delay risk
- Feeds the Structural Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project
- Defines or reviews the contractual performance guarantees and associated liabilities

JOB OBJECTIVE
The primary objective is to contribute to the company’s success by ensuring that all phases of Construction work, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Piping and pipeline execution work is being done effectively and with minimal hassles. To do this, I will see to it that health, safety, and quality standards are met, and the activities are following company requirements, international codes, standards, and good engineering practices. Well-organized and self-motivated in performing indispensable duties such as regular assessment of construction work for piping and pipeline execution jobs, systems, and prompt intervention to arising problems. Good team player and use own initiative to achieve company objectives. piping and pipelines required to witness, monitor and follow up day-to-day activities on site as per approved project quality plan, inspection and test plan, and approved quality formats to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, specifications and QMS requirements. In case of any deviation, it shall be immediately reported to QA/QC lead and Project manager to close out as per quality requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review daily site work and participate in meetings with EPC & Subcontractors to ensure that all relevant activities are being complied with the Company requirements and Project Quality Plan, as required
- Ensure that controlled copies of all relevant codes and specifications are available at the project and only current documents are in use, in accordance with ‘Master Lists of Documents
- Ensure on-site implementation of relevant Procedures, Method Statements, QCPs/ ITPs, ITRs, check sheets, and Inspection Reports according to the project specifications and International Codes & Standards
- Conduct all planned or unplanned work and ensure good housekeeping at the worksites in accordance with established safety procedures
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment and in fabricating metal parts and tools
- Ensure that all piping and pipeline operations and pipe supports installation are in accordance with the schedule, approved Procedures, Specifications, and approved design drawings
- Supervise daily project site & piping fabrication workshop activities i.e., piping fabrication, Piping and Equipment’s Erection, Steel Structure, PWHT, Cold Bending, Pipeline stringing, piping and pipeline Welding, steel structure welding, Tie-ins, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), Painting, Coating, Trenching, Lowering, Backfilling, Berm Construction, marking and tagging, Installation of Marker & IP posts, Hard Barricading and reinstatement work
- Review the performance test on blasted surfaces; visual surface cleanliness and contamination test, coating visual inspection, thickness (WFT/DFT), adhesion and discontinuity test
- Witness/Review the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as well as Welder Qualification Test (WQT) as per project specifications and standards, for different materials according to the ASME Sec. IX, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API 1104, AWS D1.1 and ISO 13847
- Review the Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) of all received materials especially piping, pipelines, rotary equipment, and welding consumables to ensure that all piping materials and welding consumables, gases, fluxes, and filler wires meet with the required Codes & Specifications and are in good condition before use
- Monitor of control storage, handling, braking and issuance of consumables to the welders at the site
- Reviewing of final handover dossiers as per approved handover dossier index and project specification and providing inputs if any
- Ensure that all processes/products of non-conformities are highlighted through CAR’S/PAR’S to the QA/QC team for their rectification and follow up
- Participate with the mechanical completion walk-through team, system-wise and rectified the punch points
- Monitor/witness the hydrostatic activities for the piping and Flowlines, Transfer-lines e.g., cleaning, pigging, gauging, water filling, thermal stabilization, pressurization, depressurizing, de-watering & flushing, air drying as well as N2 purging at site
- Monitor/conduct Pre-commissioning activities according to the relevant P&ID e.g., Hydrostatic of Piping & Pipelines, Leak Test, Flushing, Cleaning, Drying, System inserting, Systematic conformity checks of equipment and Box-up
- Familiar with non-destructive testing examination methods/requirements, fabrication requirements and their procedures
- Display an awareness of corrosion characteristics and welding processes

JOB OBJECTIVE
Ensure that plant units are safely started up, stabilized and operated in accordance with the overall project execution plan, up to PAC and smooth handover to the client.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that a viable commissioning team structure is prepared, and appropriate persons are selected and trained for the commissioning team well in time so that there is no delay in commissioning activities, no harm to people and damage or loss of equipment
- Ensure that pre-commissioning and commissioning needs and features are incorporated in all engineering and procurement documents including commissioning spares, first fills, lubes, filters & other consumables, after a thorough review of SPIR & VDRL, technical issues with vendors leading to commissioning delays are resolved in time
- Ensure that commissioning protocols (SOPs, checklists, IOMs etc.) are issued and adhered to during the project, including complete commissioning, start-up and shutdown instructions, approved process parameters documents, operations and maintenance manuals, reports and information for clients pertaining to the operation and technical issues/queries arising during commissioning
- Ensure that an optimized commissioning plan is issued and dovetailed into the construction plan meeting the targets set by the overall project execution plan, and is understood and adhered to by all persons involved in commissioning
- Ensure that commissioning deliverables as per the contract including commissioning conference, evaluation & training of client’s personnel etc. comprehensively completed in line with the overall project execution plan
- Ensure that FAT for individual units/ equipment is incorporated in contracts with vendors and successfully conducted before delivery at site, performance tests including SAT, are undertaken in accordance with the contract requirements, under the instructions & supervision of process safety/ technology vendor/ supplier
- Ensure that pre-commissioning work including punch-listing (cat I & II punch list items are completed before handover), plant safety audits etc. are comprehensively completed and shortcomings reported/highlighted for timely rectification in line with the construction plan, well before the introduction of process chemicals/physical start-up so that there are no accidents, environmental damage or financial loss
- Ensure that Operations & QHSE systems are fully in place, people trained, and these are adhered to for pre-commissioning and commissioning work
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Post Graduate/ Graduate Engineer (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical)
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years; Oil & Gas 7 to 10 years (Preferably); Project Organization: 2 to 5 years

(Equipment installation on the foundation, nozzles orientation, equipment verticality and horizontality. This inspection also included verification of ladders and platforms provision as provided in applicable drawings)
- Review the performance test on blasted surfaces; visual surface cleanliness and contamination test, coating visual inspection, thickness (WFT/DFT), adhesion and discontinuity test
- Supports contractor/subcontractor and monitors the civil works during construction projects of fences, berms, pipeline crossings, etc. to ensure that all work is in safe condition according to the project specifications
- Witness/Review the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as well as Welder Qualification Test (WQT) as per project specifications and standards, for different materials according to the ASME Sec. IX, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, API 1104, AWS D1.1 and ISO 13847
- Witness/review the Procedure Qualification Test (PQT) for the Paint Systems & HSS coating application according to the project specifications
- Review the Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) of all received materials especially piping, pipelines, rotary equipment and welding consumables to ensure that all piping materials and welding consumables, gases, fluxes, filler wires meet the required Codes & Specifications and are in good condition before use
- Monitor control storage, handling, braking and issuance of consumables to the welders at the site
- Witness visual welds surfaces and review the radiograph films of the welded joints for the detection of external & internal welding imperfections and defects according to the acceptance criteria
- Witness as well as conduct the PMI of the product to meet with the material chemical analysis. Monitor/witness the Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle activities of tie-ins & golden joints
- Reviewing of final handover dossiers as per approved handover dossier index and project specification and providing inputs if any
